About this image
Megève under the snow unfolds here across the entire width of the upper Arly Valley. The village occupies the bottom of the valley, surrounded by chalets, terraced neighbourhoods, and white slopes that rise between the forests. The winding road and the large fir trees in the foreground provide a natural entrance to this winter panorama. A curving piste occupies the foreground and accompanies the opening of the broad snowy valley. Forests separate the neighbourhoods from the slopes before the white mountains in the distance. The photograph thus gives the resort a precise place within the terrain, from the nearby lines of the ski area to the softer silhouettes closing off the winter horizon.
Located at approximately 1,100 metres above sea level in Haute-Savoie, Megève developed in a landscape of mountain pastures, woods, and open terrain between the Mont-Blanc region and the Aravis. The photograph shows this inhabited geography without reducing the resort to its slopes: the roofs, clearings, and hillsides form a coherent whole, deeply linked to the Val d'Arly.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
