About this image
Aiguille Verte and Les Drus dominate the composition with their steep ridges and great granite walls. Snowfields and areas of snow underline the couloirs, while the light reveals differences in material between pale rock and darker faces. A notch separates the two great towers and makes their profiles clearly readable. On the left, the more rounded summit carries more snow, while golden edges emphasize certain walls. This rocky interval becomes a compositional element in its own right: it separates the masses from one another and allows their lines to be followed up to the highest sections.
The framing emphasizes the shape of the summits rather than the valley. Rising lines, breaks in slope and successive planes give the image a strong mineral presence, balanced by the softness of the light on the snow.
Above Chamonix, Aiguille Verte rises to 4,122 metres. Les Drus, immediately recognisable by their slender silhouette and verticality, form with it one of the most emblematic ensembles of the Mont-Blanc massif.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
