About this image
The Aiguilles du Mont-Blanc catch the final light of day as it slides over ridges and walls before disappearing behind the massif. The summits stand out in warm tones, while couloirs, snowfields and glacial areas retain cooler shadows. Clouds hide part of the pink-orange range above closer, darker ridges. Snowfields interrupt these first rocky masses and lead toward the illuminated summits. Sunset therefore creates two readings of the relief: the precise outline of the nearby terrain and the distant silhouettes, some of whose lines extend into the cloud veil.
Sunset does not colour the mountain uniformly: it highlights certain ridges, reveals the texture of the granite and leaves other faces almost entirely in shadow. This selective light gives the relief particular depth and reinforces the sculptural character of the scene.
This landscape belongs to the Mont-Blanc massif above the Chamonix valley in Haute-Savoie. The granite aiguilles form a highly vertical natural architecture shaped by erosion and glaciers.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
