About this image
The Sancy Ridge trail follows the high reliefs above Mont-Dore, between volcanic slopes and glacial valleys. The trail guides the eye through the landscape, while a high-altitude building and the facilities near the cable car provide a human landmark. The modern building stands at the edge of a steep grassy ridge. Maintained paths follow the terrain around it and lead towards the panorama of plains in the distance. This proximity between the facilities and the slope gives an immediate sense of scale before the landscape opens much more widely beyond the high terrain of the Sancy.
The composition is based on the progression of the path and on the encounter between an ancient relief and contemporary installations. The ridges, valleys, and changes in light remain dominant, while the architecture is integrated into the setting without being artificially removed.
The photographed area is located around the cable car arrival point, at the start of the routes leading to the Puy de Sancy. This technical presence does not obscure the mountain; on the contrary, it allows one to gauge the scale of the Monts Dore and the openness of the surrounding slopes.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
