The Grand Veymont ridges structure a vast panorama of the Vercors, opening towards Glandasse. Limestone cliffs, plateaus, and valleys follow one another above the Diois, giving the landscape a broad depth and a resolutely mineral identity. The Grand Veymont, the highest point of the massif, overlooks the Hauts-Plateaux nature reserve and the eastern barrier of the Vercors. Further south, Glandasse extends this grand limestone architecture above the Drôme valley. The photograph prioritizes the continuity of the reliefs rather than an isolated summit.
