About this image
On the edge of the Revard mountains, the Croix du Nivolet overlooks the Chambéry basin with the Chartreuse in the background. The monument forms a very clear vertical landmark, while the valleys, forests and successive ridges create the full depth of the image. A cliff occupies the left side, above golden grasses and a colourful forest. The misty valley separates these nearby slopes from the silhouetted mountains beneath the pastel sky. This transition in texture and light gives depth to the panorama from the Revard, with a detailed foreground leading towards the gradually softened shapes of the horizon.
The composition gives as much importance to the landscape as to the monument. The light reveals the slopes and mountain pastures, then the relief gradually becomes softer as it recedes into the atmosphere.
The cross is located in the Bauges massif and can be reached from La Féclaz or the Sire sector. From this viewpoint, the eye extends towards the Chartreuse and several Savoyard massifs, without the need to name every visible summit.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
