About this image
A snow-covered mountain forest closes around the viewer in a succession of fir trees, frost-covered branches and dark trunks. Fresh snow outlines every needle and every detail of the undergrowth, while soft light passes through the more open areas. A snow-covered path opens a passage between the trunks. On the left, strong golden light filters through the branches and reveals small luminous particles in the air. This warm opening changes the reading of the undergrowth: nearby white accumulations remain detailed, then the trees recede toward the light, giving the route an enveloping depth.
The framing favours immersion rather than an overall view. Trees overlap in successive planes, small openings of light create depth and accumulations of snow give the landscape an almost muffled texture. The expression “enchanted forest” conveys this atmosphere without adding anything that is not visible.
The precise location is not attributed beyond a winter Alpine environment. Above all, the photograph shows the transformation of the forest when white covers the branches, simplifies forms and softens colours without erasing the deep greens or the browns of the bark.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
