About this image
Grand Veymont rises above the Gresse plain between alpine meadows, forests and great limestone cliffs. The summit closes the horizon while the valley floor gives breathing room to the foreground, creating particularly broad depth in the landscape. The green, flower-filled meadow provides a detailed foreground before two large stratified cliffs. Deciduous trees and conifers punctuate the intermediate ground, while stretched clouds cross the blue sky. This view of Grand Veymont retains the scale of the valley: flowers and trees gradually lead the eye toward the height of the limestone barrier.
The composition highlights the gradual transition from inhabited areas to high-altitude relief. Meadows and woodland create softer planes before limestone becomes dominant near the ridges, in a palette of greens, greys and atmospheric blues.
At 2,341 metres, Grand Veymont is the highest point of the Vercors in Isère. It overlooks Gresse-en-Vercors and the massif’s eastern barrier, a long succession of ridges separating the Hauts-Plateaux from the Trièves.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
