About this image
The Saint-Vincent footbridge crosses the Saône in front of the colourful façades and slopes of Croix-Rousse. Its light line connects the two banks, while the river fills the foreground and reflects the shades of sky, buildings and vegetation. The blue-green tone of the Saône occupies a broad surface in front of the footbridge. Walkers move along the quays beneath the colourful façades and wooded hill. This presence at the water’s edge brings the perspective closer: the small silhouettes punctuate the line of the banks before the colours of the buildings guide the eye toward the slopes of Croix-Rousse.
The framing is built on several complementary lines: the horizontality of the water, the discreet curve of the footbridge and the stepped buildings on the hill. Reflections soften the architecture and give this view of Lyon a calm depth, far from the city’s most monumental perspectives.
This pedestrian crossing links the quays of the Saint-Vincent area with the surroundings of Saint-Paul. The viewpoint therefore brings together the Saône, the Croix-Rousse hill and part of the urban heritage bordering the river’s left bank.

What should I do if my print arrives damaged or has a defect?
If the print has a printing defect, breakage or transport damage, whether the packaging is damaged or appears intact, contact AluArtMountains as soon as possible. Send your order number, a full photograph of the print and detailed photos of the defect. If the packaging is marked or damaged, also include photos of the inner and outer packaging and the shipping label. Once the claim is approved, a compliant replacement print will be produced at no extra cost, without limiting your statutory rights.
